Website Redesign

The Challenge:

Iron Brush Tattoo, the most popular and award winning tattoo/piercing shop in Lincoln, NE, hadn’t had a new website since 2006. Their old site wasn’t mobile friendly, had frequent performance issues, and the content had grown significantly over the years.

Objectives:

The goal was to create a fast, stripped-down version of their site that was 100% mobile-friendly. The content was very image-heavy so we needed to make sure the images were optimized and that a system was in place to auto-optimize new images going forward.

Strategy & Tactics:

We met with the client to determine the most important parts of the site and then rebuilt it from scratch, optimizing both the code and all images for speed along the way. The site still needed complex functionality to grow the site in the future, and it also needed to retain the Iron Brush aesthetic.

Results:

A nice looking, fully mobile-friendly site for a happy client that loads quickly across all platforms and devices. Upon completion, we tested the page speed and other measureables using Google Page Insights and got great results.

Dan and the team at Maly Marketing really listened and took into account all of our ideas and needs, and made suggestions that would best work as a friendly, easy to navigate website. They were able to very efficiently put together a wide range of ideas, and create order and ease of use. It was wonderful to have a team of people who genuinely listened. Dan really took his time to understand all of my requests, and executed it in a way that was beyond what I had requested.
